I live in Bloomfield. Went fly fishing at Punta Allen, Mexico last month. The bonefishing was great. Caught perch, jack craville, and barracuda. Come close to permit a couple of times but never connected.
Like to trout, bluegill, bass fish. I usually steelehead in the spring and king salmon in the fall.
I enjoy bending the rod with other fishermen.
Send me an e-mail or give me a call. I like to tie as well.

It has been a long time since I flyfished the streams in Indiana but I remember some truly outstanding ones:in the north,Fawn River near the hatchery, the Pigeon below Mongo Res.Emma Creek over near Elkart, the Kankakee near the Ill.line.In the east central part of the state is the Whitewater and all its forks(i.e.Greensfork,Nolins,Middleboro,Eastfork)south there is the Blue, the Sand,The Muskatatuck and all it branches especelly the Vernon fork and then there is the Whitewate at Brookville below the dam.And finally ,there is Laugherty(sp?) that flows south to the Ohio.
I now live in Alabama and we have fine Flyfishing but you folks in Indiana need not take a backseat to anyone.Tight Lines

I love to fish for trout in the cool waters and scenic environment of a Stream. The problem is Indiana does not have an abundance of Trout streams and they are scattered over the entire state.Lately I have been Trout fishing the state stocked inland lakes and have had a very good time doing so.The state annually stocks 18 inland lakes and Strip Pits with over 27,500 Rainbow Trout.Oliver Lake in La grange county also has a private stocking of Brown trout.Check the Indiana D.N.R.site for a lake near you and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Hello from Southern IN. I like the small streams, with the trees overhanging and narrow streams, it is good practice for E tenn. trout. (Sorry, no trout down here).
A 4 weight travel rod works well in both places.
